  First, we knit a sample of elastic and the front surface - about 10 * 10 cm in size. We find out our knitting density and after that we start knitting.
  With our knitting density and thread thickness, we collect 90 loops with edging. The number of loops without edge should be divided by 4. Leave the tail of the thread more, so that later, without attaching a new thread, make the back seam.
  We knit 4 cm rubber band 2x2 - this is 14 rows.



  Next, we knit a canvas with the required height of the front surface. You can measure either directly on the head of the child from the top of the head to the eyebrows 1.5-2 cm above, as you prefer. Or take any hat of the child and measure it. Or another option - divide the girth of the head by 3 and add 3.
  We knit the front surface 15-16 cm, i.e. The total height of the cap turned out to be 19-20cm.



  Close the loop. Now, with the remaining tail at the beginning of knitting, carefully sew the knit side seam of the sidewall of the cap on the front side. Now it remains only to make the upper seam, here you will have to attach a new thread, it is better to take it from the skein, then the seam will be as inconspicuous as the back one. Hide all the strings.
