There is an old Jewish parable about how two people came to the rabbi with a request to settle their irreconcilable dispute. He said to one: "You are right", and to another: "You are right." Lazy, inert, insensitive to the suffering of people, hypocrites, hiding behind their dignity, they manipulate the parishioners and impose on them the unbearable burden of the canons, and they themselves do not bear these burdens, but they talk about God, love money, expensive foreign cars and worldly pleasures. Literally just now, another battle has flared up on Facebook over a quite painful occasion: some priest told the parents at the funeral service for the child that the child had died because of their sins. And the parishioners who had suffered, as it were, as a result of this binge, specifically asked the bishop not to punish the priest. Another - because he shaves his beard and walks around the city in jeans: "Looks like he has no fear of God, he leads him into temptation."

In a conversation about these notorious "temptations", both the one and the other father somehow agreed that they regretted that they did not have an invisible hat so that they would not be noticed at all on the streets.

But even in the invisible hat they will notice. Do you think that since the time of perestroika, the clergy on the street have become familiar and are treated calmly? No matter how it is! It is worth walking down a street in a cassock, whether it be a street in a capital or a provincial town, in order to immediately feel the looks on oneself - sometimes mocking, sometimes irritated, sometimes surprised, sometimes joyful, but never indifferent. And surely someone will either bow, or whistle after, or release a caustic joke, or even come up - either for a blessing, if a church man, or with a conversation “for life,” if the drinker ...

The priests did not have time to become familiar on the streets. And it’s not that there are more of them in number compared to previous times, but that, contrary to statements from other high tribunes or in blogs, the Church did not become “a part of society”. She remained the Church. Separated from the world not by the Constitution, but by its very nature.

Fathers in the Church

This is how the Church is arranged, but it is arranged by Christ, not by the people themselves. How's the family. And everything in her is according to the law of love.

It is no wonder that in the modern Church this love is often not seen, that is why priests are hated (“you have been entrusted with THIS, the present, and you…”). But it's a wonder that in the modern Church this love can be seen. That is why priests are loved.

We are no longer surprised by sin: we grew up in it and got used to it. But we are surprised when the Sky is visible through the earthly dirt. By this Heaven, in fact, we are alive.

The demand is before God, and before people, and before your own conscience, when it seems that God is silent and people do not notice, but you know a lot about yourself ...

It is the demand - the priest does not have any more privileges than the parishioners, he does not differ from them in any other way, and he has nothing to be proud of and to be dignified. But what exactly the priest emphasizes in his life and ministry - whether he condescendingly justifies himself or remembers this very demand, and he is in the first place, everyone chooses for himself. Does she understand what the relationship of love in the Church-family is, or does she mistakenly think that the Church is simply an organization, considering her ministry "such a work." And each of the priests has the opportunity to realize and choose the demand, as well as to succumb to the temptation to rest on self-justification.

Suffering for Christ or for Sins

Second. Mandelstam's words: "Do not compare, living is incomparable" - are true. Listing all the above-described priests, I had no intention of "deducing types", because it is simply impossible to deduce them. Man is a mystery that cannot be reduced to a formula, and this is the deep meaning of love, as God reveals it to the Church. That which can be reduced to a formula can be mastered, and love is not mastery, absorption of one by another. It is a free relationship between individuals.

Man is a mystery, and a priest does not cease to be a man, only the mystery in him takes on other, Christ dimensions.

Third... The priest can be seen in the matting - the people are right. You can't hide anyway. Because get used to it, priest, that always and everywhere they will not be indifferent to you. And they will laugh at you, and point a finger, and find fault, and will not let you sleep peacefully. And they will hate (and not always according to the word of Christ: "for my name", oh, if only! And often - rightly so, for your sins). So, it happens that the younger brother hates the older one to tears, if he offends him or is indifferent to him.

And they will forgive you, and you will depend not only and not so much on God, but also on the mercy of those very people whom you arrogantly considered your “flock”. And you will learn to be grateful to them and respect them, but not by pleasing people in front of them, because they still remain the younger ones, and you remain the older ones.

The top of the mountain is an uncomfortable place

And they will love you, and often you sincerely will not understand why. Everything in one bottle - see the parable at the beginning of our conversation ...

And claims about all the injustices, abominations, disorder of this world - no matter where they happen and with whom, they will make you. And the inner logic of your soul will not allow you to wrinkle your face, they say, “I have something to do with it,” because the city at the top of the mountain will not hide.

Have you ever been conceited that you are hail and shine? Wait, it was still green, stupid. Soon you will realize that the top of the mountain is the most uncomfortable place for the city: lightning hammers into it, and rainstorms flog it, and it blows away with the wind, and enemies can see it from afar. And if there is pestilence, famine, disasters among the people - the entire surrounding population is drawn to you, to your walls: be kind to give everyone shelter and protection.

And you will get used to it, and you will never be able to get used to it, and "pastoral burnout" will overtake you. And this burnt-out ash will again and again kindle like a phoenix - and so day after day, you die, then you rise again. And these will be just weekdays, and each of the weekdays is like a stunning unforgettable holiday.

And you will regret becoming a priest a hundred times. And more than anything else in the world, you won't want another planid ...

How to treat the priest?

Fourth. How should we, dear brothers and sisters, lay parishioners, relate to the priest? Briefly say: love like a goat. Love like a soul, shake like a pear.

It is by no means to make him an idol, or an oracle, or little Stalin, but you can help with what you can, and support him and his family, and constantly make him ask: how are you, priest, did you forget about Christ there? Remember that a priest is our elder brother, because it was the Father who discerned seniority in him, and the Father never makes mistakes.

It is also worth remembering that although he is the oldest, he is still a child in comparison with the Father: he can make mistakes, and sin, and be weak. Therefore, it’s a hell of a lot not to be offended if, for example, the elder wanted to relax, sneak out to hang out with his company, and the younger was forced to hang out with him, and he is a jerk, well, or he will give a click or tease. We must try to somehow forgive and treat with condescension - all this will pass, it’s a matter of everyday life.

If it doesn’t work ... Remember that if the elder brother didn’t save, ruined this gift of seniority, lost love, then the Father will ask him so that it will not seem like little, it’s scary to imagine. And for the same reason, there is no need to be afraid of a bad priest, but, if there really is a reason, to denounce him before God and the Church - it will not harm him, but will be for salvation.

Well, if such a misfortune comes that suddenly all the priests around have died out, and there is not a single one worthy to serve ... Well, younger brother, if there really is no elder in the church family, then you yourself will become an elder. Whoever was the first to realize this should bear this yoke before God and people.

Illusion magic is a very subtle and complex part of magical or witchcraft procedures, which is a complex structure of ritual-verbal techniques, when using which non-standard artifacts are often used, as well as potions, herbs, infusions, etc. Wizards who practice this kind of magical practice testify that illusion is a complex phenomenon that can be skillfully manipulated only when you know all its principles.

So how do you make an invisibility potion?

The first recipe is as follows. Before you start making a potion, you need to have the following ingredients: burdock root, rosemary oil, rice grains, dry peas. First, in a special container, which is a mortar, gently and slowly pound one part of the fern leaves, gradually adding one part of the poppy seeds to them.

After that, two parts of dried elm bark, one part of myrrh, one part of marjoram, 3 parts of dill are put into the mixture in order. All this must be very well pounded and mixed, after which nine drops of bitter almond oil should be dropped into the resulting mass, sprinkled with melt water and, carefully moving the mixture onto a large flat dish, left to dry, taking care of even drying. When the resulting dough changes color to brown and dries completely, it should be pounded again, reading this spell:

After that, the mixture gains magical properties of invisibility. It should be stored neatly in a well-sealed bottle, applied a little at a time to the scalp. The shelf life of the drug is one year.
