Feat

From the national sheet about the awarding of the title Hero of Radyansky to the Union:

The chief of staff of the DSMG Lukashov N.N. took part in the battle due to the disappearance and depletion of the base camp of bandits near the settlement of Bala-Bakan, which represented great danger. Particularly caring for the leading members of the group. With courageous and decisive actions, he ensured the landing of his pet right on the battle lines of the rebels. Having shown heroism, courage and courage. In that battle, before the maneuver group under the command of Lukashov, there was a challenge: to seize the base throughout the day, not to let the bandits go and take with them a part of the armor. Helicopters, camouflaged behind the folds of space, were able to reach the base at an extremely low altitude. Prote, only a few helicopters approached the landing point, and the machine gunners asked for them. Regardless of the fact that the course gun was ready for fire, it was impossible to deploy troops in such a situation. And then the commander of the helicopters, who landed on the landing and sat down... on the machine gun. We fought for a long time, but we wanted the base to be guarded reliably and competently. The enemies simply did not expect such a noisy and swift landing from the guards... If the main part of the bandi was depleted, the dushmans who were lost alive were buried in the oven. On the skin attack, the stench was accompanied by a strong fire, perhaps, having decided to take the rest of the battle here. We had a chance to throw grenades at the entrance... The downside of that battle was the buried launcher with 1060 shells before it, not protecting the large quantity of armor and ammunition.

For courage and heroism, revealed during the period of international assistance to the Republic of Afghanistan, captain Mikola Mikolayovich Lukashov was awarded the title Hero of the Radyansky Union with the Order of Lenin and medals.

Biography given Natalia Plotnikova.

Hero of the Radyansky Union, captain Mikola Lukashov (“Chervona Zirka” dated 27 February 1988, correspondent captain 3rd rank S. Ishchenko):

The sun was pouring in on the remaining streets of Moscow, and the cold wind was still blowing around the faces. This is the end of the Kremlin wall, and the passers-by were constantly looking around. It was clear why: his newness seemed so unexpected on a frosty spring day. The dark brown smudge, which is in the linden tree, is inaccessible to the rich who have been on Sochi’s beaches, for example, with a hint of wheat, the squinting of gray, unsmiling eyes, which gives the person a stern look. To top it all off - a formal overcoat and a casket.

As if the growth of the oysters had grown, if the twenty-eight-year-old captain Mikola Lukashov had thrown off his overcoat. And then everyone received the Order of the Chervonoy Prapor, the Order of the Chervonoy Zirka, the Order “For Service of the Batkivshchyna in the Armed Forces of the USSR” 3rd class and the medal “For Military Merit”. Rich for an officer who has worn lieutenant's shoulder straps for less than five and a half years! There are still no heads on his chest. They will be awarded to the Hero of the Radyansky Union Mikola Lukashov - the medal “Gold of the Star” and the Order of Lenin.

On a day outside Panj.

Podіi in Afghanistan... In our booths they came in different ways. How long will it be known that my sons have gone to resign the international contract, how long will I hear about the feat of our soldiers and officers on this richly suffering land. Therefore, I will be able to note with particular keenness that everything that is happening in Afghanistan is close to us. From the sides of newspapers and television screens, the word “Pyanj” struck everyone’s skin like a shot. Then in the spring of 1987, a gang of dushmans fired at the village of Radyansk with such a name, crossed the cordon and attacked our border border. Blood was shed.

Now I know that the dushmans tried to organize such an attack more than once. And before the days of Panja, and after them...

From the tribute to the title of Hero of the Radyansky Union to the chief of staff of the military unit, Captain M. Lukashov: “I began my service with the border troops in 1977.” In 1982, he graduated from the military-political school. With this international assistance, the Republic of Afghanistan is suffering from the 1985 tragedy. Having established himself as a brave, decisive officer.” Lukashov talks about his service in Afghanistan in short phrases. Raptom locks up, wondering where the eel is, where the birds flutter loudly in the middle of the naked frogs. And in a completely different voice he says:

Spring... Skoda, no snow.

And he immediately becomes sensible, like a bored wine, a root Siberian, after the snow and frost under the Afghan sun. I would like to see the birth of New Moscow, which would have ruined the middle of the meter-long piles in the Omsk region. Together with my dad, a collective machine operator, sit by the specially heated booth. But now... Having long since left my father’s house for his term of service as a border guard in Chukotka. Next is my brother at the Military Aviation School. The guides of the blues, the father timidly and angry:

And who grows bread?

It was, of course, necessary to grow bread, so the work in the Lukashov family was always in shambles. Ale and Viyskova on the right smelled no less. Perhaps the one who had his grandparents, neither on his mother’s side nor on his father’s side, never had a chance to see Mikolya at all. Forty times more than once, having fallen near Moscow, another funeral came from Stalingrad. Lukashov’s grain crops, there is no superechka, there is a decline. Ale and warriors too.

How did Mikola Lukashov become an officer? His greatness is a fall. At the outpost, where he served, the commander was captain A. Timokhin. Soul-people. In all parts of the world, the price of someone with whom you live is known quickly and without mercy. An officer like Timokhin would not be a good person at the outpost. So Mikolay found himself at the military-political school.

There was no doubt about the choice of place of officer service. I don’t know what’s more important and dangerous for Afghanistan. Prote so decidedly was adjusted and his fellow graduates. It didn’t take long to get to Afghanistan.

There is no hardship without goodness. While Lukashov was serving in the native land, he realized that his choice of military profession had little mercy. With his character, be a commander. This is how his bosses respected him.

Three days after graduating from school, they were promoted to command position - platoon commander. Those who shared cadet bread were already reconciled with great rank. Ale platoon of Lukashs were promoted in Afghanistan. I’ve had a good time without a car.

From the tribute to the title of Hero of Radyansky to the Union on the chief of staff of the armed forces, Captain M. Lukashov: “Brave the fate of 23 great battles. More than 70 times with our troops we landed at the enemy’s place of retaliation.”

Previously, I had the opportunity to write about the Heroes of the Radyansky Union, which have been taken away from cities today. True, there was a stink of submarine sailors. It’s amazing how the roses have bare their skin: I was lucky with my subordinates and my bosses. Lukashov used exactly the same phrase. And now, I’m guessing, this unexpected escape can be explained like this. Whether you have a military platoon or a company, only a military crew, and perhaps a hero. You don't become heroes by rapping. Heroes are born day after day.

No one knows what the fate of the young platoon commander in Afghanistan would have been if the chief of staff of the platoon, Senior Lieutenant Yu. Lapushka (now a major, a hearing officer at the academy), had not been there. Mikola himself respects that everything he has learned is like Lapushka. That they shot at more than ten people, that they threw grenades at their feet and didn’t hurt them every time, that in the trench, where they kicked one against a dozen bandits and lost their target, they finally learned from Lapushka. At that hour, when Lukashov arrived at the pidrozdil, Lapushko had already taken the fate of dozens of people, making a great fighting testimony.

First for Lukashov, the stench from Lapushko went off at once. The need was to defeat a gang of dushmans in a gorge not far from our sovereign cordon. They landed from helicopters right above the stoves in which the gang gathered. That day, Mikola first felt a bullet from a large-caliber machine gun flying over his head. The coolies slammed down the rubble in front of them and did not allow them to raise their heads above the shrine of the small tower. They could have been killed without a grenade launcher from the platoon commanded by Lukashov. But the souls wouldn’t let them be pulled to the point of weakness just like that.

Having punished Lapushko like this. From afar, having divided their targets, the paratroopers open a heavy fire behind their machine gun. The few seconds that the dushmans will need to calm down are all that the grenade launchers will need to shoot accurately. And having learned everything correctly, then Lukashov. Having entrusted the shooting to the most experienced grenade launcher, Senior Sergeant V. Chadayev. Tilki persha pomegranate – pos. We repeated everything the same way - the result was the same. I tore the spoon and threw it. I checked the grenade launcher myself. And a senior sergeant appeared, having been kidnapped in the heat of battle. The grenade launcher's sight was badly worn and not allowing it to aim accurately. They preferred to shoot with a mechanical sight. Then the grenades covered the meta.

The stench was not lost on the thirsty people. Ale Lukashov still remembers today the guilt of turning back from battle. Having acquired a lesson for yourself: first of all and for all situations, it is the commander’s responsibility to keep his head clear in battle and firmness in front of his underlings. If it had been that time - not Lapushko, having checked the grenade launcher himself, precious seconds would not have been wasted, which have a special price under the fire.

There were so many of them later, so many secret stories from the dushmans... During the battles, the commander’s memory came to Lukashov at once as a revelation. Within a week they moved him to the landing. The paratroopers don't bother those who are afraid. These new people were people of extraordinary goodness. This was a lot of new things. And what made it even more special was the situation that there was no one to take command. Lukashov's successor, senior lieutenant O. Zubarev, died. The Central Asian garrison lost its homeland from Zubarev. Only Axis and his squad could not manage to arrange a hundred-day pension. That day, when he died, the senior lieutenant’s daughter was born. It was not Zubarev who looked after the documents. And there’s no way she’ll get a pension for her dead father. How much did Lukashov and his comrades fight to bring about the injustice of the situation! How many times did he notice that there was a wall in front of him.

That “bad” Lukashov still won. Now don Andriya Zubarev is hanging around in the world for documents. From that hour I could hardly wonder at the paratrooper commander. From the submission before the title of Hero of the Radyansky Union to the chief of staff of the armed forces, Captain M. Lukashov: “Lukashov N.N. took part in the battle because of the disappearance and poverty of the base camp of bandits, which represented great danger. Particularly caring for the leading members of the group. By brave and decisive actions, he ensured the landing of his child right in the battle lines of the rebels, demonstrating heroism, courage and bravery.”

The gang of bandi who lived at this base was called Yermamat. Our soldiers dubbed him simpler and more basic in Russian ears - Yermolay. Defeating the gang in the gorge is important. This is Rozumiv and Yermolai, and our command. However, the day came when it became impossible to carry out the operation due to the depletion of the gang. Developers reported that rockets are being shipped to the base on a large scale. Our cordon is close to a hundred kilometers. The firing range of such a projectile is approximately twenty kilometers.

The paratroopers were given a task: to conquer the base throughout the day, not to let the enemy drink and take with them a part of the spoils. The chief of staff of the unit, Captain Lukashov, flew from helicopters of the first group. They reached the base at an extremely low altitude, camouflaged by the folds of the place. Immediately, the fireballs of the souls’ guns began to pulse in the windows. The crash of helicopter engines, having caught their course gun, the pilots, as best they could, tried to make it easier for the robot landing party.

It was impossible to stand under the fire of the souls' guns. The commander of the helicopters, who carried out the landing, sat on the machine gun. At the end of the car door, Lukashov simply swung the jammed drill and camber under his feet, and fell into the opposite direction. Already cutting off, noting that the trifles had been removed onto the frame of another machine gun, senior warrant officer R. Khusneev had cut off... Soon everything was cut off. At the destroyed base, the paratroopers buried 1,060 rockets. In a few days, Captain Lukashov will return to his unit. Afghanistan is looking forward to a new beginning. If you were a sailor, you would give Lukashov seven feet under the keel. I really don’t know what the paratroopers are supposed to think about such outbursts. Chantly, just luck. Over there at your service is not the one on the right.

MAYDANIV

MIKOLA SAJNOVICH

Senior pilot of the helicopter squadron; commander of a transport and combat helicopter regiment. Born in 1956 in the village of Taskuduk, Ural region (nin – Zakhidno-Kazakhstan region of the Republic of Kazakhstan), in the birthplace of a laborer with many children. Before being called up to the Zbroynich Forces, I worked at the Tsegelny plant and elevator.

In 1974-1976 he served in the army of the Radyan Army. After being transferred to the reserve, in 1976, he entered the Saratov Military Aviation School of Pilots, ending in 1980.

At the warehouse of the 40th Army, two children (from spring 1984 to chest 1985 and from spring 1987 to autumn 1988) took part in combat operations in Afghanistan. One of the first began to stagnate tactics, which then dictated the lives of rich helicopter pilots and soldiers. High in the mountains, the Mi-8 helicopters were poorly heard of control and flight, however, due to small interests, they didn’t want to do it in a helicopter way. Then the young boy Mikola Maidanov began to destroy the combat vehicle like a flyer and... throw it from the mountain peaks at the break. The risky maneuver yielded results - the propellers untwisted, the car gained the necessary speed and most often went right under the noses of the souls, who had already sensed the victory. Fellow soldiers who fought with Mikola Maidanov knew: as soon as a helicopter flies, they can sing: they will turn around alive.

The senior pilot of the helicopter squadron, Captain Maidanov, completed 1,250 combat flights on the Mi-8 helicopter, with a total of 1,100 years. In particular, 85 wounded soldiers and officers were transported from the battlefield, up to 1000 paratroopers and 100 tons of cargo were transported. For his courage and heroism, revealed at the time of the conquest of the army, Mikola Maidanov was awarded the title of Hero of the Radyansky Union.

In 1992, Mikola graduated from the Viyskovo-Povitryan Academy named after Yu.A. Gagarina. Having served in the aviation of the Ground Forces: he commanded the helicopter regiment of the Leningrad Military District. In 1999-2000, he took part in the anti-terrorist operation of the Russian troops in the Chechen Republic.

29 September 2000 Lankan Mi-8, at the warehouse of the regiment commander N.S. Maidanov, who completed a landing in the area of the Argun Gorge on one of the heights and conducted reconnaissance of the locality. Unbeknownst to them, a strong fire was fired from the large-caliber machine guns. Unregardless of the situation, the helicopters, under the supervision of Colonel Maidanov, withdrew their helicopters from the shelling and saved the landing and helicopters. A small piece of fire broke through the cockpit of the commander's Mi-8. The wound turned out to be fatal.

By decree of the President of the Russian Federation dated 10 December 2000, Mikola Sainovich Maidanov was posthumously awarded the title of Hero of the Russian Federation.
